An easy way to clear your mind is to
light a candle and stare at the flame.
You may find random thoughts float into
your mind. Try not to focus on the thoughts just acknowledge them
and move back to focusing on the flame.
Breathe slowly and practice a couple of
times a week. You will find next time you meditate it will be easier
to clear your mind and focus on your meditation.
