To See a World in a Grain of Sand,

I've had this phrase repeating in my brain all morning,
'To see a world in grain of sand, and heaven in a wild flower'.
It's been driving me mad, so I sat at my computer and thank God for Google - I figured it out!

It's a beautiful poem from William Blake called Auguries of Innocence. Now I can't say with 100% accuracy that I did or did not do this poem at school many, many, many years ago but for some reason it's been jumping about in my head this morning.  I sat and read through this magnificent poem and found tender powerful words that touched and embraced my heart and soul.
I hope you find it as mesmerising as I have.
It is quite a long poem but i'm sure you will find a stanza that resonates with you.
Enjoy,
Cora x

To see a world in a grain of sand,
And heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

A robin redbreast in a cage,
Puts all heaven in a rage.

A dove-house fill'd with doves and pigeons,
Shudders hell throu' all its regions.
A dog starv'd at his master's gate,
Predicts the ruin of the state.

A horse misused upon the road
Calls to heaven for human blood.
Each outcry of the hunted hare
A fibre from the brain does tear.

A skylark wounded in the wing,
A cherubim does cease to sing.
The game-cock clipt and arm'd for fight
Does the rising sun affright.

Every wolf's and lion's howl
Raises from hell a human soul.

The wild deer, wand'ring here and there,
Keeps the human soul from care.
The lamb misus'd breeds public strife,
And yet forgives the butcher's knife.

The bat that flits at close of eve
Has left the brain that won't believe.
The owl that calls upon the night
Speaks the unbeliever's fright.

He who shall hurt the little wren
Shall never be belov'd by men.
He wo the ox to wrath has mov'd
Shall never be by woman lov'd.

The wanton boy that kills the fly
Shall feel the spider's enmity.
He wo torments the chafer's sprite
Weaves a bower in endless night.

The caterpillar on the leaf
Repeats to thee thy mother's grief.
Kill not the moth nor butterfly,
For the last judgement draweth nigh.

He who shall train the horse to war
Shall never pass the polar bar.
the beggar's dog and widow's cat,
Feed them and thou wilt grow fat.

The Gnat that sings his summer's song
Poison gets from slander's tongue.
The poison of the snake and newt
Is the sweat of envy's foot.

The poison of the honey bee
Is the artist's jealousy.

The prince's robes and beggar's rags
Are toadstools on the miser's bags.
A truth that's told with bad intent
Beats all the lies you can invent.

It is right it should be so;
Man was made for joy and woe;
And when this we rightly know,
Thro' the world we safely go.

Joy and woe are woven fine,
A clothing for the soul divine.
Under every grief and pine
Runs a joy with silken twine.

The babe is more than swaddling bands;
Every farmer understands.
Every tear from every eye
Becomes a babe in eternity;

This is caught by females bright,
And return'd to its own delight.
The bleat, the bark, bellow and roar,
Are waves that beat on heaven's shore.

The babe that weeps the rod beneath
Writes revenge in realms of death.
The beggar's rags, fluttering in air,
Does to rags the heaven's tear.

The soldier, arm'd with sword and gun,
Paisied strikes the summer's sun.
The poor man's farthing is worth more
Than all the gold on Afric's shore.

One mite wrung from the lab'rer's hands
Shall buy and sell the miser's lands;
Or, if protected from on high,
Does that whole nation sell and buy.

He who mocks the infant's faith
Shall be mock'd in age and death.
He who shall teach the child to doubt
The rotting grave shall ne'er get out.

He who respects the infant's faith
Triumphs over hell and death.
The child's toys and the old man's reasons
Are the fruits of the two seasons.

The questioner, who sits so sly,
Shall never know how to reply.
He who replies to words of doubt
Doth put the light of knowledge out.

The strongest poison ever known
Came from Caesar's laurel crown.
Nought can deform the human race
Like to the armour's iron brace.

When gold and gems adorn the plow,
To peaceful arts shall envy bow.
A riddle, or the cricket's cry,
Is to doubt a fit reply.

The emmet's inch and eagle's mile
Make lame philosophy to smile.
He who doubts from what he sees
Will ne'er believe, do what you please.

If the sun and moon should doubt,
They'd immediately go out.
To be in a passion you good may do,
but no good if a passion is in you.

The whore and gambler, by the state
Licensed, build that nation's fate.
The harlot's cry from street to street
Shall weave old England's winding-sheet.

The winner's shout, the loser's curse,
Dance before dead England's hearse.

Every night and every morn
Some to misery are born,
Every morn and every night
Some are born to sweet delight.

Some are born to sweet delight,
Some ar born to endless night.

We are led to believe a lie
When we see not thro' the eye,
Which was born in a night to perish in a night,
When the soul slept in beams of light.

God appears, and God is light,
To those poor souls who dwell in night;
But does a human form display
To those who dwell in realms of day.

Little Angel

Little angel oh so small
sitting on my garden wall.
Bless my garden with love and grace,
abundant blessings on this place.

Little angel oh so still
sitting on my window sill.
Bless my room with love and grace
filled with light and your embrace.

Little angel I adore
sitting by my front door.
Bless my home with love and grace
showering all in this place.

Little angel at my head
sitting just beside my bed.
Bless my sleep with love and grace
always protected in this place.

Tree

My twisted architecture stands firm and strong
a haven for the flying throng,
lined with snow in winter deep
summer's green and autumn's heap.

A life I stand in this place,
high on a hill
the wind I embrace,
all the seasons come and go
and still I stand but also grow.

My branches stretch for the light,
my roots search deep for damp delight,
I see it all go by each day,
all busy walking far away.

My days i'll spend here on this hill
watching those who never still
but I remain in this place
watching this amusing race.

Find Your Balance !

We all crave the light, we spend our lives searching for the light in one way or another.

As a child we are born with Divine Light and as we grow and develop the darkness within us slowly overtakes and dims our light.
Firstly we cannot have the light without having the dark - after all, a lit candle is of little use on the sunniest day, but in the dark of night it is most beneficial.
Secondly the darkness is not a bad thing to have, we all have to find our own unique balance of darkness and light.

Where does the darkness come from?
The darkness is every little negative thing you have thought, felt, experienced and lived through, but instead of facing it and acknowledge it for its lessons and achievements, we bury it deep, we feel guilty of it, we feel repulsed by it because we are taught that it is not acceptable.  This is done mostly in childhood so many of us are totally unaware of what our darkness holds.

The darkness reappears as we grow older as we try to juggle all the balls of life, we for a time take our eye off what we are doing and then BANG! we bash ourselves and rehash the darkness until it eventually takes us over; telling us how unworthy we are, how insignificant we are, etc.  Hans Christian King has a lovely phrase - we run our crazies he says, - we let our ego's dictate to us how we should be feeling and what we should be doing to fit in etc.

The one thing you have forgotten and should remember is the light is in you.
It's always been there, it never goes out.  Even in the darkest mind or troubled moments, the darkness can never overwhelm the light because you have a Divine Spark - a God given Spark that he has given you and no on can extinguish that.

Take time to reacquaint yourself with your darkness, don't fear it.  Face it - give it a name, acknowledge it is part of you and look at what it has taught you.  Even the most horrid of the darkness words holds a miracle - a freedom because when you know it you can forgive it, accept it and move on.

God bless and keep you all

Laughter

Laughter is great for the Soul.
It lightens your mood, relaxes you and helps you to unwind.

I find children's and babies laughter, full of innocence, wonder, expectant delight and lightness. Its pure energy produces love in sound waves that wash over you and leave you feeling light and fluffy - just like a cloud.  Passing by a school ground and hearing the children playing and laughing is such a wonderful thing to experience.

Angels love laughter and they really enjoy joining in when we are laughing.
You encourage angels into your life when you laugh and see the lighter side of light.

Snowflakes

Winter's hold is tight and cold
smothered in a blanket deep.
All around the wind does blow
Timeless shivers within me creep.

Light the snowflakes fall around
swirling softly to the ground.
Covering all with magic white
pristine shapes a brilliant sight.

Now my bones lay deep below
the upper blanket of the snow
and the peace I hear above
of softly snowflakes landing so.

God Is Good

My life is mine but yet it's not
A gift for me to live.

All are one, in this place
connected through every race.

I was chosen to come here now
to share my love with you

I serve him every day I live
by serving you.

Share his light and gift of love
with others every day,

Then you will bring your soul
to light and fill your life with love.

He waits for us to return home
full of joy and peace,
to share our lives lived on earth
so all will know his love.

Divine Light

We are all currently watching the Olympics and not only enjoying the sports we like but also the lesser known sports too.  Having spent a week glued to every event televised I have to say I'm really enjoying London 2012 very much.  The opening ceremony was delightful, fun and full of energy a very well done to Danny Boyle and i'm sure her 'Maj' will be honouring him in her own way later on - although I do have to say her role as a Bond Girl was very well done too. Congrats!

The one thing I have noticed about these Olympics is the Sprit that is almost tangible throughout every single event.  The Energy in London is very positive and Team GB are very tuned in to it.  There is a wonderful sense of pride and love emanating from all the competitors from every country and many people have commented on the positive nature and high buzz that is all around.

The Angels are working very hard to bring about this high infused energy and I can feel it even watching on television.  The Olympics have been wonderfully organised and top marks to all those who have been working behind the scenes at every venue to bring this about.  These people are listing to their intuition and Angels' guidance and this is evident in what is taking place.

Congratulations to all those who have won medals and best of luck to every nation competing.  London 2012 will be a very special event for many not just the competitors, staff and everyone in London and event venues but to all those who are tuning in and absorbing the energy and love that is being sent world wide.

26 June 2012 – Shield Yourself

Many people believe in shielding themselves from negative people and situations.

I believe that if you constantly live in love and light, the angels know that nothing can impact upon you, harm you or distress you. Only humans can effect you with their hurtful words and deeds.

Many shield themselves with visions of glowing orbs and energies and ask for protection from negative situations and people. When working  spiritually  I don't believe that we can be impacted upon in this manner.  If we are working from a centre of love and light then we are automatically shielded as we only see. hear and know good.  We are not effected by the negative.

People who say they take up other's energies need to work on this issue, and learn not to do this. The Angels will help you in shielding yourself and if you are in love and light then you will be protected always. You need to re-learn to look positively on situations and people and not judge.

22 June 2012 – Solar Plexus Chakra

The angels continue with their message of Chakra cleansing and balancing this week with today's card.

The Solar Plexus is a very important chakra; we all use our 'gut instinct' from time to time even if you don't know anything about chakras. The angels want you to focus on removing all negativity today and allowing the light in around you.

Ask your angels to stand into your aura and help you to be more positive and radiate love and light to all.

Reflection Garden

The Angels guide me to reflect from time to time.
I have done this for many years now and I was taught to do it as a child.  It allows me to let go of things, to re-evaluate them and to see them from not just another point of view but from what I like to call a 360 degree view.

Usually I go outside and sit quietly in nature, i've even sat out in the rain; under a large umbrella, the rhythmic pitter-patter of the falling rain is ideal for this purpose.

First, I take deep breaths and exhale slowly allowing my body to relax; my muscles slacken, my back straightens slightly and then I close my eyes. A few seconds later, i'm floating; floating somewhere and no where at the same time, and although I engage the same method when I meditate, I don't progress to a meditative state now.

I now shift my focus and think about my Reflection Garden.  It's a blissful small Zen garden filled with small lush green plants, large blossomed flowers of all kinds and sweet floral fragrances.  A tinkling water fountain fills the air and small statues are hidden amongst the greenery and shrubs.

Here is where i focus my thoughts I now think about any particular situations or occasions which need reflextion.  Here in this tranquil garden the angels show me and guide me, allowing me to see others' points of view or opinions and then gracefully show me the conclusions or outcomes.

This allows me to better understand and then I ask the Angels to remove any negativity created by harsh words or actions and replace them with love, light and healing.

It's Sunday Afternoon

It's Sunday afternoon.
Sitting by the open window,  sipping my usual cup of tea I relax into the silence that envelopes me.
The soothing background of life drifts through the open window.

It's a day for letting go,  a day to breath deeply,  relax and exhale all the pent up rubbish i've accumulated through the week.  The sunlight reflects through my beautiful hanging crystal and i'm enveloped in a flash of blue crisp light,  Archangel Michael is surrounding me in his loving light embrace.  A reassurance that all is fine,  that I am protected and loved and a confirmation that its a good time to let it go.

I love the energy of Archangel Michael and smile as I say,  'Thanks for that Michael, and just when I needed it most.  I can always depend on you to reassure me when I need it, God bless.'
The Archangels and Angels always make me smile even when i'm angry,  sad,  annoyed.  I love the energy they exude and the wave of love I receive as they tell me all will be okay,  don't worry or some other reassuring message.

The sun dips behind a cloud,  no rain yet thank god.
I cherish my times here by the open window communing with nature and all the angels.  Sitting back and watching life swirl by.  Its a unique opportunity that many others dream of,  and I through the Angel's blessings am living it,  loving it and excited by every moment I experience it.
